Samsung SDHC Memory cards. Counterfeit... Fakes...

Hi all.

Just a WARNING if you are in the market for a GENUINE Samsung SDHC micro memory card.

I have found lots of counterfeit items today, as I was shopping for a 64 Gb SDHC card for my Samsung Galaxy Note3.

Please look for the following.

Where it says read and write speeds there is a spelling error the word write is spelt wrife.

The write speed for a class 10 SDHC card should be greater than 10 Mb/s

Look at the icons on the left and you will find no values written beside them as there should be.

Check with the seller if unsure, and always pay with PayPal.

If you suspect you have a counterfeit card you can use the following program to test your card.

H2testw simply google it download it and run the test on the suspect card. (Free Download)

If the card is counterfeit you will notice 2 things.

1. the read write speed is slower than it should be.

2. You may get an error at the end of the test stating that certain blocks cannot be accessed.

Please use caution when buying these kinds of items online, if it is cheap there is a reason why, usually because the item isn't what you think it is.

Regards,

Bay Pro Audio.
