Hi guys and girls.
I recently made a purchase without doing research.
I paid via PayPal and have not received a receipt.
My bank statements say the withdrawal went through
and there are transactions of -$1 and -$149.99.
I've tried to contact the seller to confirm the order placed
and get a receipt.
But no luck.
The order was placed on the 13th.
This is the item I purchased.

Hopefully they'll come back to the post and contact eBay,Paypal and their bank.
Unfortunately there is another two scammers that have a few scam listing up,(they both have 5 bikes
"hidden" at the end of their listings, some of which are also suspect),
Unfortunately eBay have the search now set that only brings up 25 items when you use the links from the
suspect items,(so it makes it harder and to time consuming to search by category).
I found the other two by using the item description from one of this scammers listings.

It's in the "cars, bikes, boats" category cuboards, so it could be an uphill fight for the OP to get their money back through Paypal, eBay's MBG might not be so much of a problem though.

Well, I was bored, so I've reported the fake listing in China, (it will fall on deaf ebay ears though I betcha!)
And, I've contacted the bloke in South Aussie about this.
Also added a link to this discussion. ![]()
See how we go.

Emptying the bank account is not a bad idea if it's spawned an eCheque. It could save a lot of dramas if it fails to go through. I'm not sure the reason for calling the bank though. The seller doesn't get your bank account details when you pay that way. It's still just a PayPal payment.

None of the scam listings have been removed,(so that's more members getting ripped off).
Might have to wait once again for the negs to start hitting before they remove them,
I just don't get how a big company like eBay employs a Trust & Safety department that seems to have no idea
on what a scam listing is or how to shut them down quickly,
They used to be shut down within hours when T & S was in Canada, but now most times it takes for negs to
hit and the scammers being reported for those negs before scammers are removed,(which often takes up
to a month from when their first scam items "sold"),
Which off course means that they possible conned thousands of dollars out of more gullible members,
