Hi,

I purchased a dvd set on 01/12/24 and was provided a tracking number.

When tracking the parcel, Fedex said it was delivered on 09/12/24. The proof of delivery photo was a large roll of plastic,  left at someone else's house.

I contacted both Fedex and the seller.

The seller said it was a mix up and sent another dvd set, with Australia Post tracking.

The item states "delivered " even though I reported it hasn't.

Fedex have no history of my address.

Australia Post do not identify the tracking number, today was the latest the second delivery would arrive.

The seller is fraudulent, I asked for a full refund, no message.

I left negative feedback,  he had it removed.

How is that even possible?

The feedback was removed even though I opened a dispute with Ebay over this seller, provided details about the item not being delivered, both to Ebay and in my negative feedback.

This seller is continuing to scam people, and I was denied my right to leave feedback.

This seller is a major seller, is that why he could have my feedback removed?

I also mentioned in my feedback that the seller is not located in Australia,  but overseas.

I have proof in the false tracking number he provided.

Why didn't Ebay contact me before removing my feedback?

The system is not fair to buyers when they are up against large sellers.

Now I need to wait until 18/12/24 for Ebay to refund my money.

I'm down $40, which might not seem a lot to people, but to me, it is.

I've also reported this seller to Ebay.

When a seller can easily have negative feedback removed,  how honest is the feedback system?

All I see is Ebay supporting a scammer, a fraudulent seller who never had any intention of providing me with what I purchased.

eBay are usually all about the buyer (99.9% of the time anyway)

What is the item number?

eBay do not contact people before they remove feedback. What exactly did your feedback say?

Did you check the seller's feedback before you bought?

When you opened the item not received dispute, did you do it for the 'FedEx' one?

You say today is the latest day for the 'second' delivery, so you would not have been able to open a dispute for that yet, and for that, If the seller could not prove delivery y to the address you provided then they do not have a leg to stand on

The feedback was most likely removed automatically, for breaching policy

Hi,

Item number: 395644864833

I looked at the sellers overall feedback score with a little research into the negative feedback.

The DVD's are very hard to find, especially new and were a present for my father for Christmas.

I did read more of the negative and neutral feedback once things went wrong and other people have experienced the same.

My feedback was honest, not abusive and just stated the facts that my item never arrived and the first delivery company had no history of my address, the second didn't identify the tracking number.

I did say they were fraudulent and not to trust them etc, after stating what went wrong.

The seller needed to respond to me and just messaged "tracking update"

so I checked again, and still unknown tracking number.

The first delivery says delivered 09/12/24

The second delivery has a timeframe of 06/12/24 to 13/12/24. From the seller not Australia Post.

Why would it say from the 6th if the first wasn't reported as not delivered until the 9th?

Thanks for the help.

The feedback for that seller is utterly appalling

I am surprised eBay has not shut them down already quite frankly (but then again, there is a seller who posted here with worse feedback, and who leaves abusive feedback for buyers, but as I say, it's only 99.9% of the time so some scammer sellers do 'slip through'

But this one, 89.1%, that is really really bad

I mean, if I didn't know better, I'd  say a hijacked account as there negs went up very fast, and I don't think the neg you left would have turned anyone else off who wanted to buy from them, any more than the 22 negs already there turned you off

Their use of stock photos and some of the 'odd' prices are also questionable, and usually the hallmarks or sellers either drop shipping , if not actually registered in China

Obviously this character knows what they are doing, and how to 'get away' with it

There other sites who have the same box set listed, although time might not be on your side there

Thank you for your reply.

I really only went ahead with the sale as it is very rare, region 4.

I did buy from 2 other sellers, used condition but I'm limited in what to buy now.  100% positive feedback for the new sellers.

I think Ebay should shut this seller down.

Hopefully the report will have them investigate this seller and not remove negative feedback once submitted if it's not going against EBay's policy.

They absolutely should shut them down

It might be worth seeing if you can get onto a supervisor via 'eBay Help' (you will need to get through the automated bots first)

But if you can do that, point out the sharp increase in negs the seller has earned

Especially if other people have already done the same

It may get the seller on eBay's radar (if they aren't already) and get them shut down faster
