Scammers on Ebay?

I placed 2 orders in for 2 pairs of kids shoes on the 6 Nov 2013. I received one pair just last week and the other has not arrived and is not even showing up on my Ebay purchase history. I checked Paypal and payment went through to that seller but yet so far nothing. I don't remember their ID and there seems to be no record of that seller on my Ebay History. What is going on?

On PayPal, the money that was sent to the seller should have the item you bought and an email to contact the seller. Were you able to find any information there?

Check what time period is showing in your Recent Purchase History. At the top of your Purchases section in your My eBay you can select it to show up to 60 days. To find Purchases older than that click on Purchase History and at the top click the Archived button and select the year. eBay stores your purchase transaction history for 3 years.

Were the shoes from the same seller?

If the listing has disappeared completely it must have been removed by ebay for some reason.  You should have received an email from ebay to tell you it had been removed and to open a paypal dispute to receive a refund.

There should be a record of the transaction still in your paypal account even if the item has been removed.

That is a very unfair negative you left for the sandals....a month for items to arrive from China is quite usual at this time of the year.  In fact it is quite reasonable for any time of the year.

Oh my, if you leave a neg for a parcel received in what is a completely normal delivery schedule what on earth would you do to a seller who actually made a minor error, I think you may make it onto a lot of special lists!

Bluesky - just so you know in future - negative feedback should be reserved for the very worst sellers who won't communicate with you and refuse to help or issue refunds if you have a problem.

The correct protocol if you receive a damaged or 'not as described' item is to first contact the seller and (politely) let them know that you have an issue, then give them a chance to respond and offer a solution.

You cannot blame the seller for delays in the postal service. Once they hand the item over to the post office it is out of their hands. It's not the seller who delivers to you - it's China Post, Australia Post or whatever other postal service is being used.

If it was up to sellers to decide when you receive your products, I'm sure all of us would get the items delivered the very next day.
