Sele or auction?

I bought 10 coins on ebay.

"Current bid" says the 10 coins are for $2.00AU.

But the input asks me to type $2.25 or more, I did it.

Then "Current bid" increased to $2.25AU, and same input asks to itype $2.50 or more.

The process looks like auction.

BTW: I did not provide my credit-card-number, how do I pay to the seller?

I am new to ebay.
