I bought an item worth over $125 and used a $50 eBay coupon to pay towards the cost. Everything seemed fine but the next morning I woke up to find that the order had been cancelled and refund provided. The seller said the reason for the cancellation of the order was an issue with the delivery address. I fail to see how this is possible when I've have several orders delivered to my address without a problem. I suspect it's the fact I used a legitimate coupon that was the real problem and am tempted to leave negative feedback for this seller, simply because they were dishonest about why they cancelled. Also, the coupon has now expired so I've also lost out on that as well. Am I being unfair to leave neg feedback?

Is it a new seller? Maybe they think theyโre coughing up the difference, and are scratching their head that theyโve made an errorโฆโฆ it has happened

Just because you have had several orders delivered to your address without a problem does not instantly mean EVERYTHING could be delivered to you without a problem
Was it a similar item too all the others?
Was it something that need to be delivered by courier?
Do you have a PO Box?
I am not sure why you would think an eBay coupon would be the issue, using an eBay coupon is not going to have any impact on how much the seller gets since the eBay coupon amount is not taken out of how much the seller gets

The seller has no way of knowing how you funded your payment - just saying

IMO, that would depend on the real reason for cancellation.
"An issue with address" is often used when a shonky seller is out of stock.
What is the item number ?

I don't use a PO box, and I've had deliveries from AusPost and courier and never had a problem. I haven't used a coupon before so wasn't sure if the seller was aware that I was using one or not. Seems they don't so that isn't the problem.

Thanks for that. I wasn't aware of that fact as I've not used a coupon before
