This seller from south Korea is definitely a thief who has taken my money without delivering the order or refunding!!! More important is, eBay is allowing this kind of of activity.
I will never shop on this platform again, and trusting any thing from south Korea.

I knew! however, due to the COVID outbreak, I simply gave the trust to this seller and agreed to wait for the delivery outside the 180 days. Then, this doggy seller took the advantage and used my trust without sending the order. It also pointed the finger to me and ebay to blame!!!

ebay customer service promised me to step in and help. However, after a month, i got nothing coming back, not a single word.

didn't have a chance, cause the order is longer than 180 days. ebay does not have automatic refund algorithm to protect the customer, whereas many its competitor has. Hence, I will never trust and shop on this platform again.

ya, that the only thing ebay has been done after in two months, bravo!!!

maybe there are more casualties behind the table, who didn't have a opportunity to rate this bad seller anymore, who knows.

that's why i will never shop on this platform again, simply because of their competitors like amazon and ali are better designed with the way to project the buyer...

unfortunately, my order was over 180 days old. Because of COVID, that I gave the trust to the seller to postpone the delivery, of which the doggy seller took the advantage. ebay has promised me to step inside, however after a month, I got nothing coming back, not even a single word. the order is sill appeared in my account as paid, but not delivered..., that I have no option to do anything about it!
After all, ebay should set 180 days deadline to refund the purchase automatically, if the seller failed to deliver. Many other flatforms have such a mechanism, it's shame that eBay didn't follow.

Sorry this happened - Ebay gives you all the tools you need to open a dispute, BUT you have to do it in a timely manner. Unfortunately, YOU are responsible for opening a case if you do not have your item. YOU were the one who agreed to wait until the service was working again, but maybe it wasn't even true in the first place? Who knows? But you agreed to wait, without knowing if you would get your item or not.
You can't say you didn't have chance to open a case - Ebay gives you 30 days after the last estimated date of delivery and even Paypal gives you 180 days. If you had opened a case and received a refund, then at least, if and when the item arrived, you could always repay the seller.
Sorry, this is an expensive lesson to learn. If an item is late or is not as described, open a case first and then you can always communicate with the seller afterwards. Without a case, Ebay doesn't know there is a problem.
Customer Service can only help you if you open a case in the time frame. They cannot force a seller to give you a refund after that. Unfortunately, you are to blame here because you did not take action when you needed to.
Amazon is exactly the same. You have a certain window to open a dispute. After that, nobody will help you.

Don't blame Ebay, you are the one that failed to follow the established process's.
An expensive lesson to learn, but thats life.

@anch-8276,
There isn't any platform on which you would be able to lodge a claim 8 months after the item was supposed to be delivered. Not even a credit card provider will give you such a long timeframe in which to open a dispute or claim.
There is no form of protection that will be there for you to use ad infinitum.
I don't mean to be harsh; I would simply like to ensure that this message gets across to you. No matter from whom you buy online, you cannot wait for 8 months if an item doesn't turn up. That is far, far, far, far too long. You were very kind and good-hearted and trusting in giving the seller that extra time, but I think what must have happened is that you decided to wait, then sort-of forgot about it until just recently. I don't think you can have realised just how long it had been.
There is really nothing you can do at this stage. You could have had a chargeback done by your bank/card provider, but as I said earlier, I seriously doubt you'll have any luck with that because it's been 8 months. Look, you have nothing to lose by trying, so please do try that. (If you're successful, could you please post here? It's unlikely, but... perhaps an exception will be made in the circumstances, due to COVID-19 causing vast delays globally.)
PayPal offer Buyer Protection, but you have 6 months (literally 180 days from the date of the transaction), and not a second more.
eBay, as you know, offer a Money Back Guarantee if the item is deemed not to have arrived, but you must open a dispute/report about this no later than 30 days from the EDD (Estimated Date of Delivery). eBay do not open this dispute for you automatically; you as the customer must do so if there is a problem.
Good luck, and let us know how you get on with your card provider.
