Buying signs from India free postage then seller adds $299 U.S. postage
Seller does not respond to any messages.
‘Seller then cancels the order and re lists items.
‘I leave negative feedback and seller has it removed.
I try to contact eBay to report this but they don’t respond.
when I get one negative it lasts for twelve months and I can’t have it removed because eBay tell me the feedback policy is ironclad ?
Seems to be double standards very frustrating.

Can you share the item number?

I wouldn't be expecting free postage from India. Have you looked at international postage costs? Is it possible that the seller listed it as free postage within India? Or perhaps it was "free" local pickup?
Did you look at the item on your phone, perhaps in the app? This can make items appear to be free postage because of the way that eBay displays the listing. But post the item number here, as papermoon.lady has said, and hopefully we can check what might be going on.

A few years back (6-8 years ago), I bought quite a lot from India. Both for my personal collection and some to resell. Most of what I bought was a good 8-10kg after packaging, to send to a buyer. Sometimes more. All listings were auctions. Some sold cheap. Some sold REALLY cheap. Almost insanely cheap. Some went for way more than you could expect from that type of product. All those mass bought items to me were sent with "free postage".
Moral of the story is, there are plenty of Indian sellers who offer free post.

Basic Parcel Post India - Australia
1kg 1140 INR = $21.28
10kg 5100 INR = $95.18
Can not see anyone offering free post, surviving very long at those rates.

I am truly amazed! I wonder how on earth those sellers managed.

Look at the timeline I mentioned.....Not this year, or last.
I still have some of those sellers on my saved seller list, and believe it or not, they are still showing free postage on all their items. Some only showing as free postage on auction items. Others have scaled back and charge full postage for everything. That's their choice.
I've never had any issues unloading my items on here. Despite being bought from India, and not having top rated seller. Zero issues.

So no one has addressed how they can be exempt from negative feedback ?

Probably because the OP violated policy in their feedback.

There are several reasons FB + or - can be removed. The seller only needs to contact ebay, justify and request the removal.
Direct from FB Policy
I received Feedback that violates eBay policies. What should I do?
