Your phone is now showing as immediate payment required. Well done!
Just be careful of any enquiries from "local" people who then ask you to send it to their cousin overseas. If you are unsure if someone is legit, come back here and ask for help.

would say best move ever - i sold over $80,000 over about 4 years on ebay on another id-last year around this time i noticed ebay getting terribly slow and moved to gumtree well the shock of how many buyers there are over there and no fees or paypal/ebay scams is worth it's weight in gold, best thing is on rare items and other things i undercut ebay sellers and still make a profit whilst they are fooling around with disputes etc - i have even been able to buy on here and sell for twice the amount over there.- go for it and don't give up - best of luck

I hope that this is not a case of the seller looking for a way out of this deal as he didn't get the price he was hoping for. That's bad and dishonest selling if so. Hopefully this is not the case.
I have seen in recent times more and more sellers listing items at lower starting prices hoping to attract a bidding frenzy so they can get a big pay for their item. Then when the auction doesn't meet their expectations they come up with a story that the item has somehow gone missing or it has been discovered that it's faulty. Or worse still, it was accidentally dropped and broken.

I won the auction for $33, and the options were an additional $15.35 for shipping, or free local pickup. I messaged him for local pickup as I was only a short drive away. He refused saying it was not available - that I would have to pay for shipping. I pointed out he was mistaken and offered the local pickup option in the listing. I was flexible and told him I was prepared to wait until a day it was convenient for him. But I said I would not have bid on the item in the first place with that additional postage cost.I accepted it was possible he did not intend to offer local pickup. But I pointed out that he would still get $33 in the end whether I paid for postage or not, as postage is only supposed to reimburse the seller for shipping costs, not for a profit. The seller was rude and made a smart alec comment saying words to the effect of "if you still want this item, go to JB HI FI (a lot more expensive there)". For some reason I cannot find the option to leave feedback. I am disappointed we could not come to an agreement and he just canned it all, seemingly with no consequence. Please help I'm fairly new to ebay, so not sure how to proceed. I really just want to leave a reasonable, factually based feedback comment. Something like, "rude seller, and cancelled my order without permission"
Further to my last reply to you richarande20, OK you won it fair and square and at a good price. I'm 100% behind you that the item should be yours and the seller has no right to cancel the sale.
On the auction page it said .... " Purchased for $138. Used for approx 6 months". You won the item for $33 which is a bargain. Great value! Perhaps as other sellers sometimes do when they don't get a satisfying price for their item, they come up with the story that the item is broken or faulty. Then they re-sell later on to get a higher price. I don't know if this is the situation here. You can draw your own conclusions.
In my experience and the thoughts of people I know personally, in this kind of situation it may be a bad move to ask for anything extra from the seller. Two seasoned eBayers have even suggested it's best to tiptoe around a seller that you have just had a great score from. Thee less said the better in these occasions. You don't want to wake the sleeping giant.
Best to get in, pay the money and get your item.

OP wasn't asking for anything extra, just to collect the item as advertised in the listing.
