I placed a bid on a Jovani formal gown and the seller has only now added extra photos showing that the dress is clearly not an original designer dress by Jovani. In the extra photos there is a train on the dress and the colour is now white and the beading is all wrong.
I sent the seller a message and it has been ignored. I tried to retract the bid but ebay will not allow it. Can anyone please suggest what to do?

you can retract yr bid up to 12hrs before the end of the auction.
if there are less than 12hrs to go you need to contat the seller to cancel yr bid

Thankyou for your fast response and help. I have contacted the seller to cancel the bid, I will just wait it out now. She has not answered my message and there is only 6 hours to go.

how can the seller change the listing once a bid has been placed

if it is more than 12 hours the seller can still add pictures

They can make revisions as in add further information or pictures. There are certain things that can't be changed, such as format and you can't edit the description but you can add to it.
The bid was placed on the 6th and the photos were added on the 7th.

Cool cat, are you sure it is not the same original design? One of the stock photos used shows that it does have a train which isn't clearly showing.
Also the stock photo is going to be more glamorous on a model in a photo shoot than on a young girl outside in the daylight. For instance the sparkly bits look different but that could well just be the lighting.
I hope the seller get's back to you in time.

One thing I notice is the listing definitely says "beige" not white, so if it is actually white you have a not as described case.

Thankyou everyone. I asked for a photo of the label to show it was in fact a Jovani dress and have heard nothing. The stock photo shows the material which is a silky chiffon material and the beading goes gradually down the length of the dress and the dress has a loose drop around the ankle area. In the added extra photo of the seller wearing the dress, the material looks like a stiff satin fabric which is cut off straight at the ankle area and the beading stops in a straight line under the hip area. The original dress does not have a long train to one side.
