I bought a foldable cutlery kit, the seller sends as a letter, putting only $1.40 worth of stamps, I used myparcel, but got an email from Auspost to pick up from the office because I need to pay upon pick up. So I was like **bleep**, when I got to post office, the lady showed me that the package failed to make it as a letter by a few mm I guess, and I therefore must pay $7.10 to receive the package. Which I refused as I have paid my postage to the seller. So I asked auspost to send the package back to the seller.
So what are my options? I want either a full refund and leave negative feedback because it is the seller's mistake that wasted my time because I had to go to postage office during my business hours. Or should I ask for a refund + compensation for my time for a positive feedback?
Thanks.

I was responding to Phorum's comment
"Why did you have to waste your oh so precious time to go to the PO? You could have just not picked it up then after a week it would have been sent back to the seller anyway?"

This is where my 6 figure salary comes in, every business hour is worth $$$ to me. Which is why I must get compensated for it. This is principle I live by, no one shall waste other men's time because of their own greed. I must teach the seller a lesson so that he does not do this to other men.
I always live by the golden rule in the Bible, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." I don't waste other men's time, and I don't like when other waste my time.
I'd probably review this policy given what you've previously wished upon members of this forum in some of your past posts that were removed in their entirety due to their content.
Misogynist much are we? These days, pretty much since women have been allowed out of the house unchaperoned, permitted to work, allowed the right to vote, serve in a combat zone as a member of the Armed Forces, etc., etc, etc., most enlightened folk would probably refer to the Seller as "They" and not "He" and would be concerned about not wasting other "peoples" time, not just other men's time.

What should you do? The only thing you know how to do. A big fat red dot. That is all you know how to do so I am unsure why you come here asking advice when you already know what you are going to do.
You must be the unluckiest buyer on eBay. Why do you keep putting yourself through this constant stress? Isn't your 6 figure job stressful enough? Try contacting the seller and give them the benefit of the doubt for a change. You might be surprised.

message sent to the seller, asking for both refund only, but recommended some sort of compensation for full customer satisfaction.

Hello, everyone. This discussion is getting a little heated and off-topic. Could we please remain on topic and communicate with a more civil tone. Thanks!

The seller will not compensate you for your time.
