Seller has sent an offer for review

Saw a listed BIN item this morning that I was interested in and sent seller (low feedback) a message enquiring about postage.

Seller comes back with "an offer to review" item and has reduced price of item from $15 to $5 - still within ebay.  Following links on desktop for "Review Offer' goes to unsecured link.  Checking "review offer' within ebay app on phone requests log in even though logged in on app.

All seems a bit strange.  Not proceeding, but curious about opinons from Board.  Thanks.

The reply with offer is new in messages.

I am guessing he has hit the reply with offer button, instead of reply and the postage is $5.

The 2 buttons are next to each other.

But get a confirmation first if you proceed.
