Seller leaving ebay

I just received an email from seller in the UK stating they are leaving ebay due to their high costs and said they were changing to Amazon.
I wonder if thats going to start a new trend?

I don't think so. Depends on the seller's items.

For someone selling books, Cd's, Dvd's etc, that may be a worthwhile change but not for seller's in general.

ebay's traffic is still second to none.

People leave ebay every day of the week for one reason or another why is it so important to start a thread about it?

Probably got sick and tired of impatient buyers hassling them on ebay.

Its the first time I'd heard of it. Especially more so thru an email.

The seller is obviously being courteous to their buyers and hoping they will follow them to Amazon if they want more of their product.
