What is difficult about hitting Reply on the actual post you are replying to? You don't need to reply to the Opening Post unless that is what you are answering?

It depends on how they have their settings. A lot of people just reply to the last post and some others reply to the opening post. Just the way it is Lyndal.
How many times have you seen someone getting miffed at a reply to them when the comment wasn't aimed at them?
Anyway, a bit off topic.

Hi Michelle, I have had sellers tell me where they are going, if they are leaving eBay.
Usually, it is their own website.
Lyn, if using my Android phone, the mobile view of the threads will by default make any post a reply to the last post.
haven't seen a setting to change that, the two times I used it.
Michelle may be replying to herself, via a default setting to reply to the OP, on whatever device she is using, without there being a way to change that.

Back to the original topic under discussion. Here in the UK it is not just books and CDs etc that are sold on Amazon, it works a bit like ebay for private sellers however when I looked into it a couple of years ago (I don't sell on ebay when I am in the UK) it seemed far more complicated and not a lot, if any, cheaper.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

This is the case.
I often post via iphone to particular poster and my device defaults to last poster.
Generally a very regular poster comes in and gives me a serve .. but as most know I am not fazed
If some can't get with the program thats their problem - kinda like dead threads complaints, its just gives everyone else a chuckle that they can't move past such a minor issue
