Hi,
Trying to figure out if its possible to remove a negative comment from positive feedback:
I bought and paid for this item: #151681686071, the seller left me a positive rating but in the comment said I didn't pay and was a waste of time.
I've since emailed the seller who said that this was a mistake on their end and I should send a feedback change request. I can't figure out how to do this. I've left a follow up comment on my feedback so people know I did pay (I've got the PayPal transaction as proof).
Where is the feedback change request? Or how do I go about getting this changed? I still have 100% positive feedback, its just the comment on the feedback looks bad.
Thanks

You need to ring ebay....they are very lax about answering emails.
If you are very lucky you might get someone who will remove your followup comment as well...it was definitely a bad idea to leave that before trying to get the original comment removed.
Never jump the gun with followup remarks until you have exhausted all other avenues for making things right.

AFAIK it is still against the rules to leave false-positive feedback.

It's up to the seller to initiate a change in feedback according to eBay.

It was a error by the seller (it happens) according to the OP so all that needs doing is for the seller to revise their feedback.

It is not an error. The seller can't leave that feedback for any buyer.

The seller probably uses a batch file to leave feedback and doesn't even look at the remarks they leave for buyers.

Nope. Deliberate negative feedback left -

Checked sellers fb left for others. This is the only one

TBH if you are just a buyer then it doesn't matter, no one really reads a buyers feedback unless there are issue then a seller may read it. You made it a lot worse by replying to itm as it stands out now.

And if ebay does revise/delete the sellers fb -
your reply will most probably stay and really stand out
