Seller modified listing after payment!

I have finally received the printer, I just checked the toner level, it has about 25% toner level.

When I bought the printer, the listing says that all printers for sale have 80% or more toner, the seller has a multiple item listing style, which mean he was able to modifier the listing, now I check the listing, he changed to the first four has 80% or more toner level.

How can eBay allow the seller to modify the listing? I mean it is fine that he can modify the listing for future sells, the modification shouldn't affect the listing of the people who already bought it.

What can I do in this case? Can I get the history of the changes he made to the listing? Because now I have no proof, he can change the listing at will and when I click on purchase history, it would bring me to his current listing. **bleep**, this is fraud.

Re: Seller modified listing after payment!

Printers are so cheap these days that it's often cheaper to buy a whole new printer instead of replacing cartridges. Often the cartridges are dearer than the actual printer (if you buy brand name cartridges)!

My printer cost $30. Replacement black ink is $40 (I don't use colour). But the replacement is a double sized one, so still marginally cheaper than a new printer.

Plus I don't have to dispose of the old one.
