You can just let it go and "hide" it in your purchase history, or you could ask the seller to send a cancellation request. If you just let it go you'll probably get emails from eBay reminding you to pay, just ignore them, they'll eventually stop.

If you just leave it as unpaid you will cop a strike on your acount. Ask the seller to send you a cancellation request, once you get that you can agree to it and all will be ok. if the seller doesn't choose the right option they will receive a defect on their account.

The seller is actually the only one who can initiate a cancellation - they will have the option in their eBay sale history, so it will be up to them to do that (if the item remains unpaid and no action is taken, nothing further really needs to be done on your end, as all that means is the seller pays eBay fees for a sale that didn't happen, which is up to them I suppose 😄 )
If they send you a cancellation request, you may need to indicate via eBay that you received a refund even though the item was never paid for, this is just one of the 'foibles' of the new process, and helps finalise the cancellation - the message you receive will tell you if any further action is required.

The OP will only cop a strike if an UPI dispute is opened. If it's not paid for and it falls off the purchase history page in 60 days, nothing happens except the seller loses their fees.
