Australia post should be always an option for postage.   City based couriers never have a clue how to deliver to rural areas and offload on other folks including au post.  I say all sellers must include au post as an option!  If you agree with me then post a reply.

I think overseas sellers who only send economy should always include an option for standard shipping as well.  Maybe even express, although that can be rather expensive.

As long as you are prepared to pay the extra cost you could always contact the seller and ask them if the could use ozpost.

Sellers should decide who they use, not have it dictated.    Buyers have the option  to use the seller or not based in the product t and service provider.

Even if I agreed with you, which is irrelevant, what does my posting a reply achieve?

Do you think you are getting a (forbidden) petition going?

Do you think maybe you should clarify with sellers how they post before committing to a sale? I would.

No I donโ€™t agree

Not sure what you hope to achieve by asking people who agree with you to reply

It is up to the seller what options they give

Up to the buyer to ask if the seller is prepared to offer an alternative, or buy elsewhere if they do not like the options given

I think one of the problems for smaller sellers might be that setting up automatic multiple postage options might be complicated for them.

At the moment, many ads have a set postage price. But that will have been worked out with a particular courier in mind and sellers may not be able to send the parcel with a different courier for the same price.

I imagine that a lot of sellers use ebay because they want a sale where a person can buy and pay without the need for messages and too much manual tweaking, if they can avoid it. Plus a lot of sellers would want the certainty of knowing their costs up front.
