Thought I would check to see if there has been anything done yet regarding the seller who seems to be missing.
Did a search for "Fortune Fish" and sure enough his listing is still live and tops the search out of 60 results in Best Match. Interesting that with a feedback score of 97% and getting close to 200 negs this seller's listing has not dropped in Best Match.
You have to wonder what is going on ?:|
I am still worried about the seller. Has anyone heard anything yet?

yep i did and got the reply of nothing unusual on their account, so i rang and explained better and was told they would look at his next review
Well there goes that idea; darn. Reviews happen - at the most - every month, which is fine for sellers who are actively looking after their accounts and customers, but not in situations like this. I have all empathy for the seller if something has happened and all this is beyond their control, but all the more reason for eBay to take control of the situation. Just not good enough.\

Well, I've just reported 8 of the listings, so we'll see if anything happens with those. TRS and other stuff is usually done on the 21st of each month - 14 days awayX-(

The last time I saw a case like this I knew of the seller and was told the boyfriend had died.

I reported a couple as well. It doesn't sit quite right with me to do it, but some action has to be taken, and the sooner the better.

I remain shocked at the inaction by ebay on this matter. :O:-( they are letting down buyers and sellers overall. Whilst I understand that Trust and Safety have their procedures but for goodness sake any fool can see NOW that something has gone seriously wrong in this case.
To make matters worse on the phone today when I rang (as others have) to report and query their inaction, I had one of those customer reps that just would not let me finish a sentence. ๐ gggrrrrrrr

I wonder if one of the current affairs programs would be interested?:| Thoughts please:)

thats what I was thinking too - but the seller and their family may not benefit from that type of coverage
has anyone tried messaging via their buying history - there is a seller who has been promoted on powerseller board for packaging recently - maybe they have more complete contact details ??

Thanks cats - I hadn't thought of it from the seller's side:-)

Every time I type in Fortune Fish and the info pops up my heart sinks. I don't understand why Ebay have not done anything about this seller and the buyer that has left disgusting feedback.
I reported seller and buyer to Ebay on 6th Feb and have still not received a reply.
Sadly this does not make Ebay look good.
