Bought an item in Australia from an Australian seller. Seller refuses to send back item and also refuses to reimburse. Ebay is absolutely flabbergasted and can't do anything.
How come that a company worth billions is not able to fix their shoddy software, you enter this error into google and you get pages of frustrated users left in endless loops like myself.
Shame on you ebay!

You need to give us a few more details if you need help.
Were you logged in to the US site when you bought the item, rather than the Australian site? It appears that ebay thinks you were and it does make a difference to the dispute proceedure.
Have you sent the item back to the seller? Did you open a dispute before doing so?
What is ebay flabbergasted about? If you have not followed the correct proceedures they will not be able to help you.
