I know what you mean. I drop the price, never raise it.
unfortunately this seller is the only one who is selling the design I like. But after raising the price and not replying to me,out of spite I will settle for something similar.
Thanks! Wears just a little rant out of frustration and to see if this happens often. I've been a buyer and seller myself for a while now and only seen its been happening lately.

Personally, I rarely ask a seller a question.
If a seller is too lazy to list the basic information, I move on.
But yes, it is very rude. I have never had a seller raise the price on me though.
OP, if a seller doesn't answer your questions, you can be sure any after sale problems will result in that same silence.

I have has sellers not respond or be rude in a responses but never prices put up. Do u have an item number.
I have found at times I do come across bad sellers but I have had some really good ones and u will find that if u buy an item often sometimes u find a seller that's really good and u stick with them because they are fantastic and what they do.

I increase my prices, or even change listing format, if a listing generates early interest such as high and/or unexpected number of views, number of watchers and number of questions.
I am here to sell goods at the best price I can get. All of my customers get exceptional service when they make a purchase. Whilst I see that all of those looking and asking about my goods as potential buyers, I do not run my business to suit tyre kickers, hagglers or watchers.

Ah, but I bet you answer those questions you get, Cats.

Mostly do.
Very occasionally though I have to admit I don't, if the person is exceptionally rude or aggressive, or (not that I always check, but if I do) if their feedback shows the signs of buyers activities of which I don't approve 😉

Thanks for all of the rePlies 🙂
i agree with if people havent had the time to list all information in their listings properly or don't respond, that is a fair indicator of how bad their communication would be after buying an item. Good point made there ! 🙂
I understand eBay is about making a profit. at the same time, doing things like not responding to inbox messages and raising prices is only going to be worse off for their business.
I always save sellers that have great communication, items as described and decent postage . Things like this add To more high ratings for their feedbacK.
Communication is part of the key to selling your items & to get people returning and leaving positive feedback.

I answer every question. Even those that I would expect a buyer to be able to read in the listing. If they can't read I really don't understand why they would be interested in buying a book.
Generally I don't make a sale, but I'm happy to play the game.
