Stained used clothing

For anyone who receives stained used clothing, please be aware that it is against eBay policy for the garment to have been sold in that state.

http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/used-clothing.html

eBay policy has been changed to clearly state this so there is no confusion.

In the past, there has been debate over what constituted thoroughly cleaned, which was the prior wording, now it is unambiguous.

Which is fairer for both the buyer and the seller, as there can be no misunderstandings over the nature of stains.

I love vintage clothing. Hopefully this will encourage more people to love it too 🙂

Re: Stained used clothing

I saw those updates the other day and noted the change re: stains, but am a little surprised by this...

The following items [can be listed], as long as there's no inappropriate content in the listing or any indication that the item was worn as underwear:

  • Bras

  • Lingerie

Used bras are ok as long as they weren't worn as underwear - finally, I can list all them ones I used as chip n' dip platters at parties.

Re: Stained used clothing

Digi, lingerie items would include bralets, structured bras and corsets, which can be worn over dresses, shirts... 😛

So might be considered used, but not as underwear.

Just so long as you get those avocado stains out first.

There are also bras used as slingshots that can now be put on the sales table 🙂

I know, but I have to have a little fun at eBay's expense every so often, after all, as a seller I'm sure they have a bit of fun at mine - t!t for tat, I say.

PS T'was no guacamole in my bras.

That's now a selling point - French lingerie, scented.

Re: Stained used clothing

I won't ask.

Personally, I would have used them as icecream moulds. French Bourbon vanilla. Much nicer than onions.

Next time I go shopping, I'm asking the attendant what scoop size they recommend. 😄
