Hi,
I am after some advice on how to proceed against a seller on eBay. The amount for claim is small, but I am trying to get the product removed from the market for safety reasons. ACCC requires the ABN/ACN which eBay refuses to provide for "privacy" reasons.
Any idea how to proceed?
Thank you.

And the seller only has fol-30's feedback as a seller, so he had 0 feedback when fol-30 won the auction.
The seller claims he didn't receive the money, but it has obviously to do with Managed Payments.

why would you buy this? How did you pay?
Listing states it is 18ct from melted estate jewellery but listing details say 0.99999 from Perth Mint. Title says gold nuggets.
566g 18ct = 424g of 24ct gold = 15 ounces (approx)
Gold currently close to A$3,000 per ounce
Means 566g 18ct = approx A$45,000
Too many red flags to even think about bidding.

Something else I just noticed in that auction.
Could it be shill bidding? There were 2 bidders with 0 feedback and 100% activity with that seller who kept pushing the price up?

Absolutely reeks of shill bidding IMO

The other auctions also have these mysterious bidders with 0 feedback. Very suspicious.

I don't think you could get a finer example of shill bidding of you tried. It's perfect. They stoofed up though, the shill won one of the actions.
I do hope fol-30 comes back to read the replies, and gets their money back.

It just gets dodgier and dodgier!
The action the shill won.....
The auction fol-30 won......
It's the same lump of carp. The interesting thing is, he's used the same shill account to bump up the price for the 3rd auction. He relisted the item a very short time after the auction had ended. To know it's the same shill account you actually have to click on the bidder in the bid results.
4***4(0), the shill who won the auction, shows as a***9(0) when you click on it. 5***9(0) who was one of the shills bumping up the price on the relisted auction, also shows as a***9(0) when you click on it.
