I have a concern that ebay is alloying persons to sell toilet paper for over inflated prices.
It is currently near impossible to buy toilet paper from the supermarkets, and yet Ebay is allowing this price gouging to happen.
Some of these items have sold for just over $800.
This is wrong and the person selling it, should be banned from Ebay, and I would expect Ebay to be policing this alot closer

Please ring ebay and make your concerns known directly to them.
And then just to reaffirm your concerns you could post on the other 40+ threads on the boards re the same subject.
Nobody on the boards can do anything about it and ebay does not read the boards.

Have you been reporting them via the Report item function on each listing to help shut them down?
I have and it is working as there are now a lot less scam listings then a week ago.
In the drop down boxes Listing practices > Fraudulent listing activities > You suspect that a listing is
fraudulent.
Just ignore what it says underneath the box and click on the Submit report.
Just make certain you only report the profiteers that use the auction format as there are geneuine sellers
on there who use the BIN system although there are some now using the BIN system but their high prices for
single packs stand out.

As you say you expect eBay to do something, how long ago did you report the item and /or contact eBay?
Was there no helpful information in to well over 40 topics already posted on the forum about the same topic?
Did the links fellow members provide time after time not assist you in expressing your concerns to eBay?

Finally.
But they should've sent out a general Email informing everyone quoting the policy and then the profiteers
wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
Pruce gouging policy:
Increasing the price of items to a level that is much higher than is considered fair or reasonable is not allowed on eBay.
Activity that doesn't follow eBay policy could result in a range of actions for sellers including, for example: administratively ending or cancelling listings, hiding or demoting all listings from search results, lowering seller rating, buying or selling restrictions, and account suspension.
All fees paid or payable in relation to listings or accounts on which we take any action will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account.

You just need to shop around .. and gouging is the basic principle of a free enterprise economy .. just ask a bank LoL
try Amazon Australia .. I think they had TP for like $16 for a 36 pack of 3 ply
