Hi
I am having trouble buying from Ebay USA. Since the change password time frame.
After bidding message reads to effect of you can't buy because of seller restrictions. Happens with buy it now items as well.
Anyone else having trouble?
What can we do?
Cheers

'Seller restrictions' probably means they don't post to Australia

does the seller post to Australia?
This is one reason why that message may be displayed

Thanks for your reply.
I always make sure the seller will post to Australia to avoid hassels.

ok, then - any unpaid item strikes against you?
ummm - a PO box registered in your address?
there some other reasons a seller may prevent you from purchasing from them.
What browser are you using? Abort IE, if that's the one. Firefox or Chrome are the way to go for eBay (Chrome on a mobile device - not Safari) Clear Cache and Eat cookies?
other than that, think I'm all out, sorry.

Another scenario I've come across a few times....
Seller doesn't sell overseas, has blocks in place BUT has also mysteriously signed on to Global Shipping Program.
Suddenly they are (supposedly) shipping to all over the place.
Except they will not. BIG surprise to seller, BAD NEWS for buyer. 😉

Hi
No unpaid strikes.
Do have a PO Box as my address. Is that a problem?

some sellers won't post to PO box addresses - something to do with couriers, or signed for post? or some other personal reason - but I would say anyone using the GSP couldn't post to a PO box cos that often ends in courier delivery - so I reckon that could be it.
All of us can block PO boxes in our preferences and say they won't trade with people who use them.
Can't remember the reasons, someone else may come along and fill you in?
I've never bothered to put it in my file of useless information LOL - cos I don't have those blocks in place as a seller, and I don't always use a PO box as a buyer -
and I think I have read that some won't post to business addresses or ones with unit numbers!

zanadoo. that's usually a USA seller who will sell to Canada, but not 'rest of the world'
