I am having trouble paying with Paypal through Ebay. I have been using this method successfully for many years until the last couple of weeks or so. When I click the pay with paypal from the Ebay purchase it takes me to the Paypal sign on screen. I enter my details and the hour glass comes on for ages before it goes back to the Paypal logon screen again. It's not a password issue because if I enter an incorrect password it pretty quickly tells me in red writing that the password is incorrect. I can log in directly to Paypal through the Paypal website successfully. My husband is having the same problem on a dfferent computer with different Ebay and different Paypal accounts. I am using Windows 8.1 with IE 11 but have also tried using chrome. Have deleted all IE history, cookies etc and logged out of Ebay and rebooted and then logged back in. Doing this I did manage to get a payment through the other day, but it hasn't worked this time. I wonder if this is something to do with the split of the Ebay and Paypal companies? Any ideas?

contact paypal and report it. I am having issues paying for stuff if my security card is enabled, great security huh I can't even use my account. Anyway they kept telling me there wasn't any other issues but clearly there is so if more people contact them they might do something.
Oh and it's not just ebay for me it's all normal websites too, so it's definately a paypal problem

Fortunately no issues here.
I made a purchase yesterday afternoon and it went straight through to PayPal as usual.
Windows 7 and Chrome.
