Unable to do purchase!

When I pay for items, it is processed via my Visa card (you can also have it drawn from your bank account)so Saturday I lost the card and had it cancelled.Had one an item won through bidding so couldn't pay cause of cancellation of card. Have contacted Paypal and got them to add my bank account so as I can do the purchase.Will have to wait two days before this is active to use. What a drag.

So i get this right, you paid by echeck 4 days ago, was advised it can take 5 days to clear, opened a dispute for money that seller has not yet gotten, then your going to pay via credit card?
Wow i really hope you explained to the seller that they most likley will get a defect due to this, if i was your seller i would simply block you due to your inability to wait....

Michelle, Michell, Michelle........have you read (and more importantly understood) anything that we have told you about echeques?

I don't know about the seller but I for one wish they had never agreed to allow you to bid.

It is absolutely disgraceful that you have now given the seller a defect because you will not wait for an echeque to clear.  And I do so hope that she does not accept your payment by credit card because she will then be open to another dispute when the item takes longer to arrive from the wilds of Canada than you think is normal.....and we all know how impatient you are.

I am quite sure that every seller who has read your many threads will have you on their blocked bidders list.

Hold on....there is something wrong here.   A seller cannot open an unpaid item case while an echeque is waiting to clear because you have paid.

Are you quite sure that you had enough money in your bank account to cover the echeque?

Also I can not see how you can request a refund when there is an unpaid item case open against you.

Well the seller did do an unpaid case,I am not really concerned and also the payment was refunded to me by Paypal. Also just made another purchase and it's still linked to my bank account, and it has been processed, no problem at all.

So you must have cancelled the echeque before the seller opened the unpaid item case.

Why did you cancel it when it was supposedly wauiting to clear?

Is this new payment Pending as well or have you now added a debit or credit card to your account?

Yes I did do a cancellation on the echeque then not long after got the unpaid item case from seller. Have just received further email from seller to tell me that she is happy to sell me the item as long as it is before expiry of unpaid item case.Whew! New payment for another item is not pending and gone through echeque payment. By the way when I add my Visa card for payment method, can I utilise it immediately?
