Unable to do purchase!

When I pay for items, it is processed via my Visa card (you can also have it drawn from your bank account)so Saturday I lost the card and had it cancelled.Had one an item won through bidding so couldn't pay cause of cancellation of card. Have contacted Paypal and got them to add my bank account so as I can do the purchase.Will have to wait two days before this is active to use. What a drag.

If it was a guest payment lyndal, doesn't that mean that if there's problems with the transaction then there are also problems with a Paypal dispute????????????

No Padi, no problems. 

If you make a guest payment and don't have a paypal account all you need to do is set up an account using the same details (CC and email address).  The guest tranaction will appear in there and you start the dispute through the account.

If you do have a paypal account all you do is ring paypal and have it transferred into your account.

I suspect Michelle has used a guest payment.  She has a new card number so it would not go automatically to her existing pp account and if she waited to verify the card in her account she probably would not have paid in time.

I may be giving too much credit here, but using a guest payment was by far the best option here.

Yes good to get away from the nut case who was causing me trouble. And I don't have a PO box at present just re directed mail sent to post office. I am moving next week to new flat and have been staying in a boarding house so far. And also payment was not a guest payment. Still no sign of it on my Paypal account as yet. But I know seller has received it.

What nut case is that Michelle?  Someone on ebay or at the flats where you were living?

If you are in a boarding house where are your animals?

Have you definitely attached your new card to your paypal account and now verified it?

No it was at the old address. My dog is gone now sadly as new flat has no backyard. One cat gone + mice. Just one cat left which is boarded at cattery. And I will restock with some more pet mice. The card is verified with Paypal. So many things to organise when moving.

I vote for the seller in this case Jane.  I just know she is still heading for a dispute when the item is not here in a week.
