Waiting for an item to arrive, 3months after I've paid for it, and the transaction has disappeared

I purchased a pair of pants from a Hong Kong seller (which I was concerned about due to their neg feedback, but they were cheap, and I thought I would risk it. 3 months later, I'm still waiting for them. I emailed them about 4 weeks ago, they said they would send me another pair. So 4 weeks later, still waiting for the 2nd pair. I went to find the order details so I could get a tracking number, and the order has completely disappeared from my purchase list. I asked the seller <Removed> and they avoided the question. I asked Ebay chat who said to contact the seller.... Well that didn't work. So I'm wondering could they have cancelled the transaction (despite the fact this seller still tells me the pants are still coming), so that I'm unable to leave neg feedback?

It will be in your hidden purchase items somewhere. It will be harder to find as the photo will be gone. If you know the sellers name, which you obviously do, look at each item in your hidden purchases until you find it. I think items stay in there for 3 years.

As tippy said check in purchase history and change the drop down menu from 60 days to 2015. Smiley Wink

As someone else said, if you go into My Ebay and look at your orders, there is a drop down menu on the  right that lets you see past orders from 2015, 2014, 2013. The default setting is 60 days but you can change it.

Once you do find it, I don't see why you could not just open a dispute, item not received. You will have messages to prove you have been asking about it for a while and have been fobbed off or ignored.

You should then get your money back.

It is the principle of the thing, as you say. Plus the $5 is better off in your pocket than in the pocket of a thief. Every person who just shrugs their shoulders and says oh it is only a few dollars, I won't worry, makes it more worthwhile for sellers like that to operate.

thats crazy a seller with over 2000 negs ,well 1200 negs and over 800 revised which would have been negs anyway shows how much that seller cares about his buyers.... sellers like that will promise you anything but give nothing just stalling for time.. good luck with opening your case and getting your money back.
