What route does a parcel take when sent by airmail from Israel?

I purchased an item a couple of weeks ago and the tracking shows it left Israel on Monday, last week, so when would be a reasonable time to expect it to arrive?

Sometime in the next 31 days? Assuming you are planning on opening a dispute if it doesn't arrive.

Really, you are asking a question that has at least 5 variables - seller despatch time, Israeli post, International transit time, Customs clearance, AP delivery.

Not to mention getting the item out of Israel, countries that won't allow Israeli transit, whether or not the Australian Govenrment is miffed at Mossad, how snowed under AP is.

I have just arrived home and there is a card in my letter box to collect a parcel from my local PO and the tracking number is the same as the one issued by the Israel Postal Service.

I was just a tad too impatient. LOL
