Hi there,
Just a suggestion that could make buying on ebay more user friendly:
when you win a bid, there is no obvious way to contact a seller, except through question/answer about product.
shouldn't there be an icon saying "discuss winning bid with seller"?
Thanks

There was no "other".

Then it has changed very recently....it must be about 2-3 weeks since i messaged a seller through the listing after the item had ended and it was available then.
You can still use the Contact Member on the seller's Profile page without going through the ebay dispute process. (I just tried it on your ID)

Maybe it varies with the individual user's preferences?
I tried contacting the seller by clicking on his/her feedback ranking and ended up just getting the same page. It's very frustrating. I can't think why Ebay would want to make it more difficult to contact sellers. I can, however, understand why sellers may wish to make contacting them as difficult as possible. Unfortunately. I now just have to wait out the process as set in train by Ebay.

you need to pick the question that has no answers and then it takes you to contact seller.

I have never had a problem contacting a seller through the item - 'other' link
or through their profile page - 'contact member'
Cannot understand/explain why you would be having issues with either.

I've just checked on several items in my Purchase History, from various different sellers - the "other" option isn't available on any of them, but look at the very first option, after the word "or"...
So, it appears to still be there - they've just changed the position and the wording...
