Why Is there so many fake products on ebay?

Why do ebay let people sell fake products on ebay???...And don,t seem to care???

eBay do care, and they invite all Copyright Holders to join their VERO program.  It is up to the individualo Copyr4ight holder to monitor their own trademarks and ask eBay to remove any items that contravene that trademark.

ebay cannot be expected to know if/ how to tell what is and is not a fake on every trademark in the world.

where the members of eBay VERO do report, the item is cancelled immediately

You misread Putney's reply. 

In order to know something is a fake they would have to know all the trademarks that could possibly be listed on eBay. Which is all the trademarks in the world.

Who reported? You? What is your expertise?

eBay definitely won't delist items on the say-so of a member who could well be a seller getting rid of the competition.

If you are that concerned, contact the trademark owner.

No I did not missunderstand,I can read!!!!...The fake products r the ones Im holding In my hands...Know all!...Maybe u don,t quite understand...Its hard enough to find value on ebay these days,without having to sift through the fakes and rippoffs.Why do I buy from ebay,u say?,well I don,t anymore,its not cost effective...Facts r as plain as the nose on your face.

If you have a fake product you can get it verified as a fake by an authorised 3rd party and open a dispute in paypal if that is how you paid.

There is no need to be aggressive and rude to other posters....use the reporting mechanisms that are available to you and get your refund.

Simple fact, when it comes to brand names, a bargain is never a bargain, it is a fake.

Sorry this has happened to you, but, if you want the real deal then go to the real brand and purchase it.

Simple.

If you can't afford the real deal, do without like the rest of us.
