You do not have to leave feedback if you do not want too.
ebay send reminders but ignore them and delete them as well ๐
Feedback is voluntary so do not leave it if you do not want too.

You can turn off the feedback reminders from eBay.
Sellers are unable to stop eBay from sending them but at least buyers can stop receiving them if you don't want them.
Go to your My eBay and under the Account tab, click on Communication Preferences. Scroll down the bottom to Feedback and click Show. Change the Feedback Reminder option to None and click Save.

No do not have to leave feedback, but remember, if you dont give any, the seller automatically gets a 100% positive from you. Not sure of the timeframe but it does happen.

If you don't leave feedback the seller doesn't receive any feedback for the transaction at all.
I can't imagine EBay would ever introduce this change (ie leaving automatic positive feedback) as the reason some buyers and sellers don't leave feedback for a transaction is because they don't think positive feedback is deserved, but don't want to leave a neutral or negative either.

bsal... NO they do not
if you do NOT leave any f/b the seller gets nothing.....
I know because I have left 5597 feedbacks
but only received 4838
according you your reckoning those missing 759 would have all been automatic 100% positives from ebay??? I wish!!
