Why doesn't Search produce ONLY the results with the search terms in it?

What is the point of putting terms in the Search area when the system does not use those terms to limit the search?

It does to a certain extent but will also include other items with the additional words.

Try using advanced search next to the search button to limit searches.

They are like a supermarket and want you to impulse buy items,(so if you are looking for an iPhone they also

want you to buy a cover,an extra cord,etc.).

That's why instead of showing you the 30 items you are after they will also show you the 600 items that you

have no interest in,(so you give up and don't buy anything as you can't find the items you are after),pardon.gif

They then wonder why members aren't buying items, shok.gif

If you're searching for an iPhone only, for example, you can easily limit the number of irrelevant listings by simply adding a minus sign (-) in front of those specific things in which you're not interested.

e.g. "iPhone -case -cable -battery -charger -screen -parts -earphone" etc.

Still not much help in doing that.

The search still will show items that do not have the primary search term in them.

Doing as I suggested may not get rid of every irrelevant item but it certainly reduces them by a very substantial amount.
