Why ebay is set up with paypal in such a way that allows and in a way invites crooks to operate?

I was defrauded, with the help of paypal, and now the only option is to get rid of ebay and paypal. When it comes to a dispute

paypal "experts" are useless.Looks like they are taken from a street to do their "job"

resolved in three days.In my case they were setting dates close to a month. As it is not the first time I lost money with them

I simply close the accounts for good.Have a happy time with them.

I have sent them the emails twice and they still demanded a letter from photo shop.

Did you consider that eMails can be altered depending on how they were saved and then retransmitted/forwarded?.....

I'm betting that PayPal did.

So the easiest way for you to prove your claims so that they could protect everybody's rights was to get a qualified third party to confirm the condition of the goods.

Why was that such a hard thing to do?

It is a standard requirement for proving the authenticity of anything.

You're blaming the wrong entities. They told you what to do and you didn't.

DISCLAIMER: I work for neither PayPal or eBay - just sayin'

My*mum,I stated I will not comment anymore but as I can see you one of a few sensible people I do for the very last time.

I sent them emails copied from my ebay site as they claimed they could not access them stating they were independent company.

Funny as they are owned by ebay.I guess it would be not easy to alter them.

I have done that twice and every time there was that stupid message that a "specialist" is working on that and a timeline

of a month.Having a proof like that I thought why should I go to anybody to ask for a letter and pay for that.

Then after a year I could get a positive outcome, send the camera back at my cost and realize something again was wrong.

That is true I got upset also because of previous experiences with ebay in the past when they paid you only $400 compensation

still taking from that $25 for processing.Looking at ebay and paypal "regulations" I can see they work for themselves.

It would be easy for them to set up a regulation of not paying a seller anything before an item is accepted by a buyer as satisfactory.

Anyway as I stated I got rid of paypal and now I wait till my ebay master allows me to close ebay account and it takes a month

to process the final step after 8 years of my stupidity.

If you are relying on the process of years ago when there was a limit on the amount you could receive and you also had to pay a fee then your understanding is sadly wrong.

These days if you win a dispute you get the whole payment back....item price plus postage and it costs you nothing.

Before mouthing off about the refund process maybe you should have updated your knowledge.

If you follow the rules you will get your FULL refund back in 10-12 days at the most.
