once you raise it to a claim, the seller will have 10 days in which to provide tracking and proof of lodgement.

If they can do this, then you will not win, and you will be awarded no refund.

If they cannot do this, the case will be closed at the end of the 10 days and your refund will follow in the next day or so.

If the seller has sent the item with tracking then paypal will then ask for proof of the address it was posted too.

If the seller can prove the address it was posted too was that if the buyer then even if looking at the Aust Post tracking site if it is still showing as not delivered the seller will keep their money and paypal will refund you out of their own money as the seller has protection as well when they can prove the address it was posted too.

So either way you will be refunded if the item does not show as delivered.

If it shows as delivered but you have not got the item then you need to contact paypal to fight it and they will often do a one of discretionary refund from their money not the sellers..

So saying you will not be refunded if the seller can prove postage is NOT correct.
