Hi new at this.......l was the only bidder then at the last minute it took off, SO does it come down to who had highest max bid? And will it go the max bid even if no one else bids (say put in $150 and competition stops at 130.00 will it stop at 132.00 or take it right up to150.? Sorry to be a pain.

it goes to whoever has the highest bid and if you have 150 as your bid and the bidding stops at 130 then your bid will 132 150 is just the maximum it will bid up to.

it's good to ask.you're not being a pain.

yes, the winner will be the person who has the highest bid.

No, it won't automatically go to your highest max bid. If the last bidder bid $130 and you have bid $150, your automatic bid will be the next bid increment which is either $131 or $135 (can't remember the increments at that level).

However if your highest max bid was $131.01, that is where the max bid will go to.

the bidding increments are lower in the lower price ranges.

If you put in a bid of $150 and the bidding stops at $130 then you have the highest bid at $132 which means you have won at that final bid price. And don't be surprised at the last minute bids as they always tend to happen then.
