I bought a toilet bidet washer and after paying a plmber to install it we did find out that was faulty , we contacted the seller and he said that he will pay half price of the money paid so I contacted Ebay customer service and they saying that because i haven't paid PayPal i have no right for their help, being a pensioner and to loose money that way is not fair, Ebay should hep anyone that buy anything from Ebay, is their own responsability and now i am so upset and don't know what to do

Well at least the seller has offered you a partial refund.
You have no-one to blame but yourself for using bank deposit for an expensive item.
Is the seller a registered business....if so, you may have some redress through Fair Trading.

Sorry but ebay make it very clear when you go to pay that there is NO buyer protection if you pay with bank deposit. Blaming ebay is a bit like complaining to the local council after a shark bites off your leg when you walked into the water next to the sign that said SHARKS No Swimming.

If it was a new item you are entitled to a full refund - nothing to do with ebay - but basic customer rights.
Write to the seller and say you want a full refund. Maybe a small claims court could advise you.

of course you would have to prove the bidet was faulty when it arrived. the fact a 'plumber' installed it and didnt see anything wrong wont help there. ive never seen one of these things but its not likely to have many working parts so it should at least be repairable if its got a broken bit thats replacableif the sellers offered a part refund id take it. because as was said before, once you pay via bank deposit your on your own.

"once you pay via bank deposit your on your own"
I think this is so wrong - posters come to the board to find out what they can do, to receive advice, even if they have made a mistake, please do not say "you are on your own"

How do you suggest that the OP should be told that no-one can help them if they paid with bank deposit?
There is no point sugar coating it and giving them hope that they will get their money back.
At least the OP's seller has offered a 50% refund which is better than nothing.

What YOU think is of no help to the OP, the reality is once you pay on ebay via bank deposit you are ON YOUR OWN!
If you can't afford to lose your money DO NOT PAY via bank deposit.
sure she could go to court but a court would require proof the item was faulty when it arrived, how do you proove that when its been installed? without it costing more than the item in the first place??
i repeat, my opinion is TAKE THE REFUND. before its withdrawn with the seller requiring proof it was faulty when recieved.

It would also need to be an extremely expensive item to make court action viable.

$46.95, it wouldn't be worth taking court action.
