can sellers change the date paid or date posted

Many times I have bought things and noticed that the "PAID" date is often wrong (usually marked as one day before being posted) and usually several days after it was ACTUALLY paid and easily verified by my records.  Also, POSTED dates are often wrong.  Is it possible for Sellers to manipulate these dates?

At the top of every post is the date it was posted. This one is from 2014.

I had a pretty nasty accident over the weekend and my brain is a bit foggy.  If I read more of this I will bury head in sand.  The last few weeks have certainly thrown some classics at us all.  lol

EDIT:   ….. or better still….. START A NEW THREAD YOURSELF AND ASK THIS QUESTION AGAIN.  

Put the question in the TITLE box and then underneath in the MESSAGE BOX write in DETAIL what has happened. 

DONT tell us the sellers name because that’s against board policy (not allowed) but you can tell us the ITEM number of the item you bought that is giving you this grief. We can look it up ourselves.
