I've initiated a return for an item that didn't match the listing photos, and the app is telling me the next step is to print my label and ship the item, the chatbot is also telling me the seller has accepted my request and that they're responsible for providing the label, however when I try to access the label, I get an error message asking me to check back later, it's been 5 days since I initiated the return.
I've tried contacting eBay, the chatbot is less than useless and I get an error when I ask it for a callback or to connect me with an agent, I've tried everything in a browser both on mobile and desktop as well as in the app.
I've read that if the seller is outside Australia they're unable to provide a shipping label but they are within Australia, they're about 100km away from me though so driving there to return the items isn't ideal.
I've contacted the seller regarding the issue just before posting this (which I had to do on PC because trying to do it through the app resulted in yet another error message). Hopefully they can resolve the issue for me but if not has anyone had a similar issue and been able to resolve it?

I do not know if labels can be done via the app?
I'd never use the app, since there are nothing but issues with it, but I do seem to recall it be posted somewhere about labels and the app
Have you tried to do that on the computer?

I know you're not the only one who will not read everything I've written and suggest the same thing, but maybe they'll read this.
like my post says, I've tried in a browser on both mobile and desktop. for additional clarification, when I say "desktop" I'm referring to "a desktop computer" and not just "requesting the desktop site in my mobile browser", which I have also tried.

I could be wrong, but that screenshot looks like it's having an issue with loading the preview image. What happens when you click on "Print label" or "Email label"?

it's looked like that since the seller changed the listing photo after I started the return (I ordered glass test tubes and they shipped plastic ones).
"email label" asks me to confirm the email i'd like it sent to, which I do, then it says "we've sent an email" but I don't receive one.
"print label" makes this page reload and I get the same "check back later" message

Why not just return direct through AU post. You will have a tracking number to quote if necessary.

Because that way the OP is paying for return postage, not the seller.
