compromised buy

 purchased an item yesterday and today received msg. from ebay saying the sellers account may have been compromised how do i find out if the purchased was fraudulent and paid through paypal so my next step do i contact them for a refund.

I would be contacting them to find out if they are aware their account has been compromised. You are not showing as having purchased anything recently, so the seller may well be NARU. That would not be an issue if they had simply not paid their fees on time (increasingly hard to do), so the account may well have been hijacked.

What sort of goods did you 'buy'? If electronics and suchlike, the account was probably hijacked by scammers.

If it was me, and I wouldn't buy electronics here, I would wait a reasonable delivery time before opening a dispute with Paypal. In fact Paypal might not let you open a dispute yet. But you have 45 days from yesterday to do so.

the purchase was an android tablet was a good deal (too good to be true obviously) oh well have given him more than alloted time to have sent my purchase and for me to have received it, so have a dispute with Paypal, was even given a tracking number that was clearly just a number.
