damaged item paid with paypal

Hi. I have purchased and paid for an item on ebay. It arrived damaged although very well packed. Seller has offered to replace the item but would like me to send a picture. I have taken  picture and attatched it to email from seller now in my messages and saved ebay file.Ebay have returned my email because it contained my ebay name  Please show me the correct  procedure.. And how to correctly attatch the picture. The return email has been filed and put into my 'ebay file'It is also still in my messages file..

You would be better off contacting eBay. The boards are only used by other members.

I thought you could attach pictures to eBay messages now. Maybe the problem is trying to attach the pic to the seller's message, rather than your reply. That seems to be what you're saying you did.

If you are replying through ebay messages then you should be able to attach the photo however you must have the seller's email address somewhere, in Paypal for instance, so just send it direct using your personal email.
