delivery time

Ordered 10/12/17 delivery by 29/01/18, 49days. Is this reasonable?

Firstly, the estimated delivery dates are inserted by ebay and are a GUESS. Rarely are the correct

What was the seller's handling time?

Where is the seller ?  (not item location, where is the seller registered?)

What shipping method was being used?

From China, that's normal.

Re: delivery time

It's mid January and some sellers leave their shops open when they're on holiday so that they can still get sales, but they extend their handling time so they don't have to post until they're back from holiday.

More likely to be a seller in China though.

It's a long time but if you're buying from China or overseas, the seller has probably extended their delivery time out.

But you would have seen that estimated delivery date on the ad when you ordered.

I've ordered from China a few times & usually their ETA is about 4-5 weeks.

Did the seller post the item out quickly?

Re: delivery time

Lots of questions come to mind - Was the store in "holiday mode" when you purchased? If so, what was the date given for the seller's return? Was there an extended handling time?

If the answer to all the above is "no", then it comes down to the item's location..

You must have thought so at the time of purchase, because it would have been displayed on the listing. Smiley Wink

Agreed with all of the above posts, and just wanted to add that between 10/12/17 and today (18/1/18), there have been a total of 25 business days and it will be 31 business days by the 29th - extended breaks (Christmas etc) in the interim often cause backlogs, especially if the item is coming from overseas.

Re: delivery time

Are we talking estimated delivery time when you ordered was the 29th? Or is that the day you got it and it was estimated earlier?

Re: delivery time

It is unlikely the OP received it on 29 January.
