Okay it seems I have violated eBay's Rules by naming and shaming a Seller who RIPPED OFF FORTY SELLERS IN ONE MONTH! It seems I have violated EVERY Rule set in place to PROTECT ROGUE SELLERS... I cannot find my original Post here, so here we go again! Let's see WHAT Violations I commit this time TRYING to see IF eBay will protect THEIR Customers who keep thier Business afloat!
eBay stated that they are "Watching this rogue Seller and if he continues THEN they will take action..." WHAT THE ****???
There were 23 NEGATIVE and 17 NEUTRAL Feedback left AFTER he decided to go abroad, and on his return he has made NO ATTEMPT to contacting his Customers to replace or refund, Feedback states by many he has NOT RESPONDED to their contact attempts! And this is not enough to show he is;
A LIAR! A THEIF! AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED?????
I emailed him SEVERAL TIMES Asking where was my Case? NO REPLY!
After I left NEGATIVE Feedback;
The Seller gave me a sob story explaining he was away for an emergency and the guy he employed stuffed up, asking me to reverse the Negative Feedback and PROMISED ASAP the Case would be sent out to me Priority Post within days...
I felt sorry for him thinking maybe he was in a spot of bother; so I messaged him back to arrange to remove the Feed back, NO REPLY!
Messaged again, explaining he needed to contact me to remove the Negative Feedback; NO REPLY!
Messaged again, Copy and Pasted eBay Rules and the procedure to remove Negative Feedback; NO REPLY!
Waited until the day the Case was suppose to be here at the latest, Messaged him the NEXT Day stating it had not arrived; NO REPLY!
Messaged again to tell him he deserved the Negative Feedback, NO REPLY!
Contacted eBay believing they would have the Power to remove money from HIS Account like they DID TO ME one time, seeing as he is still actively SELLING the SAME items to OTHERS! HA! All this rubbish I read where eBay protects the buyers and rips off the Sellers is total NONSENSE!
They suggested I contact the Seller... HELLO? IS ANYBODY UP THERE??
I replied explaining; YEAH SURE! He hasn't replied to me now so WHY would HE CONTACT ME to sort this out? HE HAS MY Money as well as the money from THIRTY NONE OTHER EBAY BUYERS! WHY would he even CARE?
eBay explained that he would have MY Details as well as I would have his, being interstate will REALLY Help when he refuses to HONOUR HIS PART OF THE DEAL!
I had plans of starting an Online Business with eBay, well I now realise I am far better off staying with the Large Free Online Selling Pages and WHY they are doing so well in comparison...
It is a JOKE!

I wonder if the 8 he sold after yours have been delivered? I have learned over the past few months that dodgy sellers are allowed to continue to operate, regardless of what crimes they commit. In fact, dodgy sellers can even have their closed down accounts reinstated so they can continue with their fraudulant trading. Same dodgy sellers are allowed to 'buy' their own items from the other account with the sole purpose of increasing feedback scores.
I have found that no amount of evidence and no amount of reporting can get these sellers stopped.
Yet, at the same time, eBay will happily impose a permanent ban on a seller because he ran out of stock. A long term seller with high feedback and a 4.9 star rating.
I will assume that you paid with PayPal? Open up an item not received case and then escalate it, because at least then you will have a much better chance of getting your money back. It will also give the seller yet another defect against his account. Given the amount of neutrals and negatives he's received just in the last month alone, by rights, his account should be shut down soon. That's if eBay sticks to their guns and shuts people down for getting too many defects........which is what has happened to a long term seller on the seller forum at the moment.
Good luck with it all.

I just went in to have a look and you're right. That is one dodgy seller alright.
And what is more, he has runs of negative feedback going back quite a while, by rights he should not still be on ebay if things were fair.
From some of the feedback, it seems his items are pretty poor quality even if you do receive them.
I am so glad you didn't reverse your feedback. Personally, I would never reverse a negative till I had the item in my hands.
I hope you are able to lodge a dispute for item not received and at least get your money back that way. I think with paypal it should be possible, especially if he fails to answer them the same way he ignored you.
But the bottom line is he can say whatever he likes but if you don't receive the goods, paypal should reimburse you.
Good luck.

You have 45 days in which to open an item not received dispute through Paypal-have you done that yet ?
Once the dispute is open, you can immediately escalate to a claim. If the seller fails to provide Paypal with a valid tracking number within 10 days of you escalating to a claim, you will receive a full refund.
So what exactly have you done to protect yourself and get your money back ?

Nobody can protect the sellers if the buyers protects themselves by using Paypal and opening disputes within the timescale allowed.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

aPaypal claim will get your money back, no worries
did the 10 neutral and 6 neg and 4 retracted feedbacks he already had when you purchased your cover not put you off buying??
if not, why not? what persuaded you to fly in the face of fact and trust him anyway?
~~ ~~ ~~ Those who do right, have nothing to fear.

When I purchased, he was a 100% Seller with no Neutral or Negative Feedback. It was during the month ro so of no contact he later claimed he was away and the guy he left in charge stuffed everything up for him, but what made me suspicious was the item was due for Delivery from within Australia AFTER the allotted time for leaving Feedback, hence why I pushed him then left Negative Feedback beforehand.
eBay are a joke in how they have dealt with this, I was waiting for my funds to upload in Paypal, so thought I would do the 'right thing' and pay earlier via bank transfer. NOW I realise with eBay it is TO HELL for anyone who dares to PAY a Seller without using THEIR precious Paypal! IF eBay did not play the money market for close to a week with MY money and uploaded it INSTANTLY the SAME time THEY Transfer it from MY Account to THEIRS then I would not have needed to pay via the bank Transfer!
THEY TOOK MY MONEY yet they still make you wait around a WEEK sometimes a little longer for the funds to clear? IT IS A JOKE!
Also regards the dispute, my previous Post was removed for disclosing information so I do not know WHAT I am allowed to say? All I know is that ebay is stating that when I opened a case against him, it was ONLY to leave Negative Feedback, NOTHING about getting a Refund or MY Item I paid for Delvered??? I DEMANDED a Refund or MY Item Delivered, but none of that matters as eBay are sitting on their thumbs hiding behind their own Terms...
Okay so I lost under $20.00 but I BET eBay TOOK their FEES from the Seller! And whilst dodgy Sellers continue selling and scamming eBay continues to receive their Fees so to hell with the little people WHO MAKE UP EBAY!
NOT HAPPY!

Why on earth do you transfer funds into your paypal account before paying the seller.
Link a bank account and/or a credit card to paypal and pay the seller immediately. If you have a credit card or Visa debit card linked to pp even you payments from your bank account will be instant to the seller, and you have paypal protection.

I have no idea what ebay do these days but paypal wont just hand out money. You should read the paypal disclaimer. Paypal protection doesn't mean you will get your money back if something doesn't arrive. There is another huge story with this as well..

I have a Bank Account linked to my Paypal...
I upload money then NORMALLY it take 5 to 7 working days for MY money to appear IN MY Paypal Account... (I KNOW they alsp play the money Markets like the Banks but INSTANTTRANSFER IS INSTANT SO SHOULD APPEAR INSTANTLY!)
I was a few days in and my Son desperatley needed a Case for his Sony Xperia after forking out $255.00 for a New Screen to be fitted.
The Seller was the ONLY ONE in Oz selling the Armour Case and accepted Direct Transfer, KNOWING it would/could be close to another Week before my Paypal Funds appeared in my Paypal Account I took a punt on a 100% Seller claiming he is in Australia and bought it via the Direct Transfer.
It was later I noticed the time for arrival exceeded that of buying from China! The Seller HAD TO HAVE KNOWN he would be abroad for THAT period of time! Upon his Return, he had an Account FULL of Money, so WHY send the items to the Buyers? SCREW THE BUYERS! Trade as usual with ONE message stating someone else screwed up begging to reverse the Negative Feedback and he would send pronto...
HE IS A THEIF!
I EXPECTED EBAY (not Paypal) To force the Sellers Hand to DELIVER to the FORTY Customers or CLOSE his Account... NADA! NICHT! ZILCH! Thanks for NOTHING eBay!
BTW: I EXPECT that possibly the other 39 most likely did pay using Paypal as would I have done if it doesn't take such a pathetically long periodof time to Clear MY Money...
