ebay 15% sitewide offer question..

Hi, I went ahead to purchase some gym equipment to make some savings on the 15% sitewide offer. I had committed to buy before the offer ended 11:59pm yesterday.

Now ebay won't let me complete the transaction because it asks me to message to seller for postage costs to give total due amount. I have sent the message to the seller noting that I will be picking up this item. Waiting response.

I purchased 2 items:

1st item cost $849 aud

2nd item cost $349 aud

My question is will I still be eligible for the 15% off sitewide offer?

Were you intending to pay by Paypal and then pick up? If so do you realise you risked losing 100% of your cash as there is no Paypal or ebay protection for pick up items.

You have two choices, you can arrange pick up and pay cash, in full, when you have inspected them or you can not pay and take the two unpaid item strikes the seller wi;ll almost certainly have recorded against their account.

Buying so near to the cut off was a risk, as you found. Even if the invoice was payable without the addition of shipping it could have taken a few minutes to gwet into your Paypal account and make the payment and it would have to have been completed by the time the offer ended, highly unlikely IMO.
