It seems to me that Ebay dont care about buyers been ripped off and they do **bleep** about sellers who rip us off  as I have lost $800 years ago but when one trys to do deal for a Item that is been sold on ebay they dont like it, here below is my thoughts and reply to the dum ares's on Ebay

this is a free country , How dare you say how or why we the buyers and sellers  do things , Ebay has become **bleep** and the only reason that Ebay stopped ny deal.
such a deal is you would loose out on money , How dare you treat buyers and
sellers like this.I dont care about the policys , its a selling and buying
web site and really as you get your money for the listing who cares. No wonder
people are now selling on Gumtree and Face book as the rules of
Ebay are made by those who would not know if a train was up there nose , Ebay
need to realise its not about the money that you can make its about
the buyers and sellers to be happy , you could have all the money in the
world but if you die today you cant take it with you so wake up
to your selfs  other wise Ebay will die under its own hands
as it has already started to this is why others are selling and buying on
face book and Gumtree.

this to the   dum clowns   who run this web site.

Re: ebay feed back

Hope you have said all this to ebay

Not that they care

Ebay is only interested in protecting the buyer, every time

Have you followed the correct procedure each time for items that have not arrived and or/were not as described?

Not much point going to Gumtree if one does not like ebay

Re: ebay feed back

eBay don't read here.

You say you don't care about policies, maybe that is why you have problems.

eBay has rules for a reason. Everything has rules otherwise it's chaos.

I agree that the site favours buyers more than sellers but if you know the rules, it is not difficult to work within them.

I have very few problems because I have learnt how to work with the site.

And even though eBay is quiet, it still has the most traffic in Australia.

Gumtree is ok for certain thing pick up items. It is also owned by eBay.

Re: ebay feed back

eBay don't make much in listing fees from sellers, unless the sellers are mugs.

Non-store sellers get at least 40 free listings a month, some many more. I could list 100 per day if I wished, without paying listing fees. And we've also had unlimited listings on Sundays for the last month and a bit.

Stores get a minimum of 600 included listings per month, for $27.45 up.

I'm not really sure what you're on about or what your particular problem was.

You say ebay does not care about buyers being ripped off & you lost $800 years ago.

I don't know when that happened. I once lost money too, maybe about a decade or more back. About $40, I think.

But ebay then brought in paypal as a buyer protection & since I have used paypal, no more problems. I think that was ebay's way of trying to make ebay a safer buying place & it has worked. Ebay certainly did care, that was their solution.

You say ebay doesn't like it when buyers & sellers try to do a deal on an item being sold on ebay.

Reading between the lines-do you mean you have been trying to do a private deal? Ebay has no trouble at all with sellers listing & buyers bidding. None at all. That is how deals are done on ebay. If on the other hand, you try to do private deals-make private offers in messages so you can buy or sell off ebay-then why wouldn't ebay have a right to be upset? They pay for their website, they often give sellers free listings & the commission on sales is how they make their money.

If you're not happy with that arrangement as a buyer or seller, go elsewhere eg Facebook, and do business there.

Smiley Wink I think it might be the other way round, gutterpunkz.

What's the betting he is the one making the private offers to sellers and he has either been reported or ebay has picked up on it & given him a warning or temporary ban.

He says  "really as you get your money for the listing who cares".

Ebay cares of course. They don't necessarily get any money for the listing, their main money comes from commission for the sales, I would imagine.

Then he says:

"Ebay need to realise its not about the money that you can make its about the buyers and sellers to be happy , you could have all the money in the world but if you die today you cant take it with you so wake up to your selves."

The trouble with this is that if it's not about the money, why does he feel the need to make private offers (most likely below the asking price of the ads)? Why not just bid to win (after all, it's only money and he can't take it with him).

The truth is he expects ebay & the seller not to want money but it is probably exactly what he is wanting in reverse-to be stingy & not pay as much.
