ebay stopping the sell of items from the USA to Tthe UK

Ok so trying to buy a watch from USA the item is listed on the UK ebay and the item also has shipping to the UK but when I go to make a bid ebay tells me that I cant bid on this item as its restricted have spent 40mins talking to someone at ebay they have no idea whats going on any one else had this problem

Is there a chance that you are coming up against the sellers individual blocks?

Do you have any unpaid item strikes against you?

Things like that?

A post office box?

you ar currently logged into ebay AUSTRALIA. 

The seller may sell to UK but not to Austr. so you need to be logged into ebay UK to make your bid.

cant see any reason why have checked all even ebay said my account was fine no neg feed backs etc

As Putney said though, you are currently logged into Ebay AU, perhaps if you logged out of here and logged into ebay UK you might find it works, or else try asking over there on your help boards.

As this is an Australian page we may have different rules etc.

Logged into UK and I live in the UK also tried logging into the USA ebay still the same
