Hi,
Does anyone know if Australia currently have embargo on cargoes from pakistan? I ask because I've just recently ordered a large harp from pakistan but just before the date the seller promised to ship the item he msged me saying that his airline notified him that due to embargo restriction that Australian goverment has imposed my harp will be on hold. Just a week ago that same person reassured me that I'd be able to receive the harp by next week now he's changing his words. Did Australia recently impose any new sanctions? When I searched some flights from Australia to pakistan it still seemed airlines were accepting flights from pakistan

Thanks to everyone who's been helpful and wished me luck I did successfully collect my harp today!
And I am happy with the quality!
Truly amazing instrument for the price although it was difficult to play than I expected
All levers worked well (although haven't tested all) and no strings came broke

@*sons_and_daughters* wrote:You aren't getting the harp from this seller. Cancel the sale and get your money back. Stop falling for their BS. They are stringing you along so it's too late to open a dispute to get a refund. When that happens, you'll have no instrument, and have lost your money to a SCAMMER.
Open a dispute for item not received as soon as the ETA date has passed. You aren't getting this item. Seriously, you're not. DO NOT trust this seller. Do you wish to continue trusting them and then discover you have lost $3000? I would much rather put that money towards a reputable seller to get a real instrument.
How many times do you need to be told? You aren't getting this instrument from this seller! Put in a claim to get your money back, or you WILL lose everything.
If anyone thinks I'm being harsh, too bad. The OP needs to have it rammed home because they have fallen for a scammer with fancy glossy photos, and WILL lose their money if they don't act.
Sadly, I suspect that the OP is still trusting this scammer and they still think they will get the instrument. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Regardless of how much they want it. I believe this transaction is going to end badly for everyone except the scamming seller. He'll be sitting back rubbing his grubby hands together for getting easy money, for doing nothing more than sending a few fruity emails.
I have eaten a large slice of humble pie... however I saved some for you๐

Oh come onโฆ. To be fair, we all thought it was a scam, myself included.

I am also happy to admit I was completely wrong. I am so very happy for the OP that it all ended well for them. I really am. It did look very sketchy for a bit, but so glad it proved not to be the case. I hope she can make some beautiful music from her new harp. I did try to play one once, someone tried to stick my head down a toilet afterwards. Shame, because I absolutely love hearing a harp being played.

All well - that ends - well.
Such a good outcome - enjoy.
I was wrong.
