Just wodering what sort of feedback I should leave a seller for tardy postage and blatant lies.I paid for an item on the 16th with an eta of 21/28th.after several emails the product arrived today the 30th,postmarked the 28th at 10.41 and when I asked the seller why it took so long to send it, they said it was a reship as I had not received the first shipment. The thing is I had not sent an email until 13.27 on the 28th stating I had not received the item so it could not possibly be a reshipment of my item.So I am wodering what other buyers would do regarding feedback

I am apparently atypical. If I get the item in GOC in a reasonable timeframe (to me), I leave five stars across the board.
Others seem to be less tolerant, so you will get everything from mine to 'Neg 'em and leave 1 star for everything".
But feedback is supposed to be the buyer's opinion of the transaction, not a group think thing.

so you wouldn't care that the buyer didn't post for 8 working days and then lies about it

Not at all. I live in a city and would never buy anything time-sensitive online.
Like I said, i'm sure you will get more that don't agree with me than do.

sorry, seller did not post for 8 working days not buyer

I'd be miffed at the "lie" but meh to the postage time.
was it a large volume seller?

Nealy 6,600 sales so I suppose large and yes it is more about the lie than the time.If they had just said they misplaced my order or something or even said sorry for the delay It wouldn't be so bad

I won't answer that, as it's entirely up to how you assess the transaction.
I did have a similar situation several months ago, however I never contacted the seller - I bought an item with a 1-day handling time, it was marked as posted two days later. I received it two weeks later with a postmark dated a week after it was marked as posted. I was pretty miffed about it. Sure I got my item and sure there was nothing wrong with it, but I still take exception to a seller promising a quick dispatch, not following through on it and then not even bothering to even drop me a quick line to let me know there's been a delay. I just feel like whatever might have happened, there are some common courtesies that should be observed.
In my situation, I left a bland positive, coupled with 3's for the star ratings on postage time and communication (I don't leave 1's or 2's unless it's over an issue I do feel the need to contact the seller about, and generally if their response doesn't genuinely address the issue I've raised).

there is the possibility that the seller isn't lieing.
Maybe they did ship the item, but to the wrong person, and then they reshipped it when they realized that their checklist didn't match or the recipient said "oi, you sent me extra/wrong item etc.
I can't find the item you actually purchased, could you tell us the purchase date rather than the payment date, so I can have a look at the seller's other feedback?
please^^^

purchase date and payment date are the same,it was buy it now not auction and how could he not lie, telling me he resent it after i said i had not received it.It was THREE hours AFTER the postage time that that i said I had not received the item
