How is it possible for an auction to end with the highest bid but then item is no longer listed.
The same item ( the actual item) is listed for auction 10 hours later!!
isn't it illegal to sell something you don't have?
Is it just a SCAM with a seller and EBAY conspiring?

Hi everyone,
Since this thread has gotten a bit off-topic, please bring the discussion back to subject established in the original post.
Thank you.

And if the seller has relisted the same item, then that listing may also be removed.
Message the seller and ask.
That's what I was wondering, too.
If the item has been relisted, I wonder if there have been changes to the wording of the title or description. Sometimes it can be one word that trips you up in an ad. We once had an ad where I'd written something such as the buttons had look similar to tortoiseshell and I was surprised later the ad was pulled with a note it was prohibited to sell tortoiseshell. I just found another way to describe it.
What is the new item number ?
